Most awaited 25 electric vehicles coming in 2022

The following is a list of 25 most awaited electric vehicles expected to come in 2022.
1. Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro
A British sports car that will be the most powerful street-legal production vehicle ever created by the company with 1,160 bhp power output from Cosworth-built V12 engine mounted on its back. It will also have active suspension system, race mode and other features to compete against Porsche 918 Spyder. Deliveries are scheduled for 2020.
2. Audi e-tron GT concept
The fourth model under e-tron Quattro all-electric SUV sub-brand of Audi AG Volkswagen Group luxury brand to compete with Jaguar I Pace, Tesla Model X and Mercedes EQC . It is a four door luxury Sportback (fastback with five doors) sedan and will be equipped with three electric motors delivering 755 bhp power output. It is scheduled to be released in 2020 as 2019 model year car.
3. Aston Martin RapidE
The British Sports-car maker has confirmed that it is already production ready as it recently signed 3 billion pounds Sterling deal for supply batteries from Chinese state-run company China Electric Corporation Limited, which also works closely with Beijing Automotive Group Co Ltd and Guangzhou Automobile Group Co Ltd.
4. BMW iNEXT
The German automaker’s next generation vehicle which will go on sale in 2021 and the first major step towards its fifth fully electric vehicle release under BMW i sub-brand. The car is expected to be fully autonomous and will have a range of 435 miles (700 km) as it will share its platform with upcoming Volvo XC40.
5. Bugatti Chiron Sport
An updated version of the Bugatti Chiron hypercar which can generate 1,480 PS power output from W16 engine, instead of existing 1,500 PS figure for this 8 litre quad turbocharged petrol engine and also do 0 to 100 kmph in 2.2 seconds and has a top speed of 431kmph (Top speed limited to 420kmph). Its price tag is not yet revealed but we expect it to be around £2 million pound sterling mark as same as the previous model .
6. Buick Velite 5
The sub-brand of General Motors , under which this car is being developed, will enter the Chinese market first followed by North American markets. It will have a top speed of 155mph (250 kmph) with power output of 120 kw electric motors mounted on its front and rear axle with range up to 250 miles (400km). It is also expected that Buick Velite series may unveil in 2020 as 2021 model .
7. BYTON K-Byte
A technologically advanced SUV prototype revealed at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2018 had 450 hp power output from dual electric motors driving all four wheels and it can do 0-60 mph sprint in 3 seconds flat. This tech savvy crossover is built on a modular platform will be offered in three different sizes as K-Byte, M-Byte and L-Byte. It is expected to hit the roads by 2022 as 2020 model car .
8. Cenat EV
The new electric sedan that features sleek exterior design and is based on state of the art MEB (modular electrification kit) platform from Volkswagen Group which has been developed for compact size cars. This vehicle can generate 400 PS power output from its twin electric motors with range up to 311 miles (500 km). We expect this car to come in market before 2020 .
9. Chrysler Portal concept
The company’s first ever fully electric SUV concept devised for ride sharing fleets but could also go on sale to public in 2020. It is not known whether the car will be manufactured by the company or any other manufacturing group yet but since its based on MEB platform it can have 310 miles (500km) range with top speed of 112mph (180kmph).
10. Ford Mach 1
Ford Motor Company’s first all-electric SUV which is expected to come in market before 2019 and it also has high chances to hit the roads in 2020 . This compact crossover model will have 300 miles (480 km) range, 1,050 PS power output from four electric motors mounted on its front and rear axle with latest 7-speed dual clutch gearbox developed in collaboration with Getrag.
11. GAC Trumpchi GE3
It is an all-electric subcompact 5 doors SUV which will be manufactured by Chinese automaker GAC Group and it is expected to go on sale in 2022 as 2020 model . This tech savvy compact crossover can generate power output of 70 kW (93.2 hp) with range up to 186 miles (300 km)
12. Hyundai Kona Electric
A tech savvy compact SUV that has been unveiled at Paris Motor Show 2018 can sprints from 0-62 mph in 7.6 seconds with 201bhp output from electric motor mounted on its front axle and torque figure of 395Nm. It has two different battery options available i.e 64 kWh & 39,2 kWh for an extended range of miles (645 km). The car is expected to go on sale in 2019 as 2020 model .
13. Jaguar I-Pace
A 5 seater battery electric SUV based on Crossover class and designed by Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) will be unveiled at 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show and it can generate power output of 395 PS with range up to 298 miles (480 km). It has been developed on the same platform as Tesla Model X but we think this car can beat Tesla based on its design and technology. So we expect this model to hit roads before 2020 .
14. Kia Niro EV
The company’s first ever fully electric SUV which is expected to come in market before 2020 , it will have 301 miles (485km) range, 120 kw power output from single electric motor mounted on its front axle with latest 7-speed dual clutch gearbox developed in collaboration with Aisin.
15. Mercedes EQC
It will be a battery electric SUV unveiled at Paris Motor Show 2018 and it is expected to have 402 bhp output from dual electric motors driving all four wheels.This 5 seater crossover will have range up to 310 miles (500km) and it can do 0-62mph sprint in 5 seconds flat. In simple words, it will be a worthy competitor of Tesla Model X but we think this car can beat Tesla based on its design and technology so we expect this model to hit roads before 2020 .
16. Nissan IMx KURO
An advanced battery electric SUV concept unveiled by Nissan at Tokyo Motor Show 2017 which is expected to have 600 km range that too with three passengers on board. The car will be powered by 2 electric motors generating a total of 550 hp power output and it has been designed as per the requirements of self-driving technology.
17. Porsche Taycan
It is a high performance 4 door battery electric sports car based on sports car class, its design includes aerodynamic curves and flat silhouette along with LED headlights and taillights. We expect this vehicle to come as 2020 model .
18. Skoda Vision E
An all new compact crossover EV from Skoda proposed as 2020 model , it will be powered by two different sized lithium ion batteries i.e 40 kWh and 77 kWh with extended range of 310 miles (500 km) and 124mph (200kmph) top speed.
19. Subaru VIZIV 2 and 3
The company has confirmed to come up with two different models in electric vehicle segment in 2021 and 2022 . The all new 2020 Subaru Voziv 2 is based on crossover class, it can generate power output of 150kW (201bhp) from single electric motor mounted on the front axle, while its upgraded version viziv 3 can have power output of 231 kW (314 bhp) from two electric motors driving all four wheels.
20. Tesla Model Y SUV
It will be a smaller sibling of Model X which is expected to get unveiled at Los Angeles Auto Show 2018 and go on sale in 2020 as 2021 model . This battery electric crossover (SUV) will have range up to 300 miles (480 km), It will be built upon the same platform as Model 3 sedan and it can sprints from 0-60 mph in 5 seconds with power output of 266 bhp.
21. Volvo Polestar 2
An advanced battery electric car unveiled at 2017 Geneva Motor Show, this car is expected to come into market by 2019 or 2020 as 2020 model . It can generate power output of 350PS from single electric motor mounted on its front axle and torque figure of 600Nm. This four door fastback crossover has been designed for long journeys and it will compete against Tesla S and X but we think this car can beat Tesla based on its design and technology.
22. Volkswagen I.D
This all new fully electric model is expected to come by 2020 as 2021 model , this hatchback will be powered by two different power outputs i.e 201 bhp (150 kW) and 261 bhp (195 kW), it will have battery pack capacity of 50kWh or 62 kWh for extended range up to 310 miles (500 km).
23. VW I.D BUZZ
The company has confirmed to build this electric minivan with latest autonomous technology, it was unveiled at Detroit Auto Show in 2018 . Its range up to 270 miles (430km) makes it best in class EV minivan but we expect this vehicle to hit markets by 2020.
24. VW I.D Vizzion
This is a self-driving car and its design was inspired by the classic Volkswagen Microbus, it will be unveiled at 2018 Geneva Motor Show as 2019 model . The front powertrain of this electric vehicle includes three electric motors with all wheel drive, one motor each for driving left, right or front wheels respectively. It has been built upon modular platform that allows the company to build cars with different lengths, heights and wheelbase lengths using same underpinnings which will help in future production of more EVs based on this platform.
25. VW I.D Crozz
Its an electric crossover concept for autonomous driving unveiled at Shanghai Auto Show 2017, it can have range up to 313 miles (503 km) with battery capacity of 82 kWh. We may see the production version of this model in 2020 as 2021 model.
